Choosing Today

This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!

About

As a wife and mom to three little ones, the days can blend together in whirlwind survival mode. Sometimes I feel like I am just a maid, a chef, a gps (“Mom, where’s my…”) or even just a trash can at which dirty tissues is thrown at. But no matter what we are going through, the Bible says that “This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it” and “Choose this day whom you will serve. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Psalm 118 and Joshua 24). So whether it’s a meaningless holiday or just a rainy day indoors, I am choosing to find reason to celebrate and be glad each day. My hope is that the joy of the Lord will be instilled in the lives of my husband and children through my choice to get up and make the most of each day we are given!

Here is my trio:

E is 4. He loves cars and monster trucks.

K is 3. She loves crafts and babies.

H is 1 1/2. She loves to dance and sing.

Life gets crazy but I couldn’t do it without the daily strength of the Lord and this amazing man:

C & I have been married for over 7 years!

He works hard to provide for us.

He makes me laugh.

He treats me like a princess.

He is the best!

Lord, help me be a fountain of life in my home. :)
