Here are some EGGstra EGGstraordinary and EGGceptionally EGGcellent EGG EGGsamples:

- BUTTON EGGS

Materials: Foam or paper eggs, buttons, ric rac ribbon, glue.

- EGG WREATHE

Materials: Plastic Eggs, Wire hanger, Hot glue, Ribbon

I made this a few years ago so I don’t remember where I found the idea. If you’re on Pinterest, search “Egg Wreathe” and you’ll find tons of ideas and instructions. It was so easy and I love how colorful it is!

- EGG GARLAND

Materials: Plastic Eggs, String, Needle

A fun way to brighten up your windows. I found this idea at eighteen25.

- CRAYON EGGS

Materials: Boiled Eggs, Crayons

I guess you could call this the Lazy Mom’s way to decorate eggs!

This is especially great for toddlers… just give the kiddos some hard boiled eggs and some crayons and let them create some beautiful masterpieces!  So much less messy than those dyes! :)

- EGG STACKING & SIZING

Materials: Plastic Eggs in a variety of sizes.

We’ve accumulated quite the collection of EGGS over the years. I dumped them into a tub for my 1 year old to dig around in but it was a hit for all three of my kiddos. Before long, we were seeing how many EGGS we could fit inside a bigger EGG. We also stacked and sorted and made musical instruments with them. Lots of fun, hands-on ways to play and fine-tune those small motor skills.

Do you have a set of these Resurrection Eggs from FamilyLife?

I highly recommend them! My kids can now tell ME the Resurrection Story using these EGGS and the symbols inside. There are several books you can get to go along with these eggs. We have this one: The Resurrection Eggs by Jean Thomason.
