Top o’ the morning to you!
We are in the midst of St. Patrick’s Day festivities around here.
There are shamrocks, rainbows, leprechauns, and lots of green everywhere!
I will share our current projects soon but for now I just wanted to share a few from last year:
We made rainbows using strips of construction paper and cotton balls:
Shamrock made with an egg carton, pipe cleaner, and green paint:
Rainbow made out of fruit loops:
And finally our little Rock Pals. We simply painted rocks green, added some googly eyes and pom pom noses and placed them inside our pot of gold, complete with a pipe cleaner rainbow. Silly fun.
Here’s my trio one year ago! My how they have grown!
I am one lucky BLESSED Mama!
Now if you’re wondering why we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day…
Happy Home Fairy explains it perfectly in her post A Wee Bit of History About St. Patrick.
Be sure to check it out so you can teach your kiddos why we choose to celebrate March 17th!
More GREEN crafts coming soon!
